The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) is a unique and dynamic place to work, with a bold plan to make Toronto Pearson, Canada’s leading global hub airport, a global leader in airport performance, customer care and sustainability. Together with our partners, approximately 2,100 GTAA employees are working to create a next-generation airport by innovating in all we do and striving for the most uplifting, safe and efficient experience for our passengers – all while championing the prosperity of our people, the community we call home, and our aviation partners. Join us on our journey together, as we put the joy back into travel and make Toronto Pearson the chosen place to fly and work.

What's in it for you?

  • An opportunity to grow, develop, and thrive within a dynamic, and fast-growing company alongside thoughtful and passionate individuals dedicated to their work and community.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including a flexible retirement program with employer matching, along with voluntary savings options (RRSP, TFSA, and Non-Registered Savings Plans).
  • A flexible hybrid work environment, continuous internal and external learning opportunities, and a meaningful reward and recognition program.

What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Director, Product Management, the Associate Director, Product Management will lead product strategy and execution for Digital Experience & Commercial products, translating business priorities into a compelling vision and integrated digital solutions with defined roadmaps that deliver measurable business outcomes. You will lead and develop a team of Product Managers and partner cross-functionally with Technology Delivery and business stakeholders to discover, deliver, and continuously improve digital solutions that elevate passenger experience and operational efficiency while meeting security, safety, and regulatory expectations.

You will also define and advance the strategic use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within your domain, identifying opportunities for automation, predictive insights, and personalization that optimize airport operations and digital experiences.

As an Associate Director, Product Management, you will:

  • Define domain strategy and OKRs aligned to airport priorities and translate business needs into multi-horizon roadmaps.
  • Develop product vision and roadmaps incorporating AI/ML opportunities to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Champion customer-centric, data-driven decisions within regulatory constraints and communicate vision and success metrics across teams.
  • Lead product discovery by partnering with partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities, validate assumptions, and prioritize solutions that deliver measurable customer and business value.
  • Lead discovery with users and partners to validate problems and value hypotheses, framing risks and assumptions.
  • Run transparent, value-based prioritization across features and technical debt, maintaining clear requirements and product documentation.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery with Technology Delivery; set release readiness criteria and validate increments against outcomes.
  • Monitor product health KPIs, reliability, and performance; drive adoption and continuous improvement based on insights.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional work across operations and passenger-journey touchpoints; align release plans with operations, commercial, and corporate functions.
  • Develop business cases and ROI for product investments; manage budgets and track benefits realization, including AI-driven efficiency gains.
  • Lead and inspire a team of Product Managers, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and development.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, safety, and architecture standards; maintain audit-ready documentation and lifecycle controls.
  • Collaborate with Data & AI teams to evaluate feasibility and impact of AI-driven features, ensuring ethical and responsible data use.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management or adjacent digital roles.
  • 6+ years of leadership experience, including cross-functional leadership.
  • Experience leading product discovery, including customer research, problem validation, hypothesis testing, and translating insights into product decisions.
  • Proven track record of bringing digital products to market and developing large-scale business cases.
  • Expert knowledge of product management, agile, and lean methods.
  • Familiarity with UX/journey mapping, analytics, and digital platforms/APIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is considered an asset.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.

The GTAA is committed to Employment Equity and maintaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.

This position is exempt from Ontario's 2026 pay transparency requirements under Regulation 476/24.
