Director of Operations

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations with 10+ years of food manufacturing leadership to optimize daily operations, develop SOPs, and grow/scale production while maintaining quality and food safety.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping to meet production plans, service levels, and quality standards.
• Build and lead an effective demand planning process in partnership with cross functional teams.
• Lead production planning and scheduling, balancing demand, labour, materials, and capacity.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and respect.
• Establish clear goals, accountability, and performance tracking through regular KPI scorecards, team meetings, and action plans.
• Own the operations budget and deliver key KPIs
• Lead the integration aligning systems, processes, and reporting.
• Strengthen ERP and operating systems, ensuring accurate data.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Food Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent
• Strong experience in planning (production and demand planning) procurement, and end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated experience optimizing ERP and business management systems

Salary in the mid to high 100,000 range+ depending on experience.
