Responsibilities:
As Director of Operations, you own the production floor and you'll be the leader of the operations for the busy, fast moving, high volume and growing, multi-site business!
- Accountability for production teams across 3 facilities
- Responsible for output, quality, and on-time delivery
Set and own the KPIs that run each department. - Managing, planning, and evaluating print, bindery, and fulfillment services, along with inventory control, job planning, press room scheduling, and capacity management across sites.
- You will lead, develop, and review the people on the team, and keep the floor running to target.
- Travel to each site required monthly.
- Other as required.
Requirements: - Degree in business, operations or a related field with a MBA as a preference.
- 8+ years leading operations in a demanding, high-volume production, manufacturing, or fulfillment environment, including time running more than one site.
- Six Sigma credentials (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent) is an asset
- Experience setting and hitting production KPIs (throughput, on-time delivery, quality, scrap and waste),
- Has owned a P&L or facility budget
- A strong communicator who organizes people well and picks up new systems quickly
Salary open to discussion 150-200,000 range depending on experience.
