Your Opportunity
OurSalmon Arm, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops offices are looking for aManager to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:
Review assurance and non-assurance engagements for private or NPO organizations to ensure that relevant professional standards and Firm policies are followed
Effectively plan,superviseand executeassuranceand non-assuranceengagements
Assurance & Accounting projects may include preparation of financial statements, due diligence procedures, services related to capital raising, and involvement in tax services provided to assurance and non-assurance clients
Develop a portfolio of new clients and business opportunities with existingclientsopportunities on an on-going basis
Address client issuesin a timely manner, following BDO Policy and using yourstrong technical skills and accounting experience
Applyappropriate industry/businessknowledgeinanticipating,identifyingand addressing issues relevant to the client’s business

Your experience and education
Professional designationrequired(CPA)
1+ years of management experiencein an accounting and/or assurance role
Bilingual is an asset
In depth experience in relation to ASPE or ASNPO files
Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Act as a leader in the Firm, continually focused on employee engagement
Salary range: $73,000-$111,000
