Job description
Details:External Posting #25/26-193E Bus Driver (Route 602 - Uncha)Grassy Plains (This position begins and ends each shift in Grassy Plains. Applicants who live outside of Grassy Plains are welcome to apply; however, they will be responsible for arranging their own daily transportation to and from the bus in Grassy Plains daily.)4.67 hours per day, 5 days per weekContinuing position starting as soon as possibleSummary:Performs a variety of skilled tasks driving regular and scheduled bus routesLiaises with students, parents, peers, and staff membersInspection and preventative maintenance on the busCurricular and extra-curricular trips when required.Qualifications:Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)Valid first aid certificate and CPR trainingCourses and training in defensive driving or a combination of training and experienceWHMIS Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety proceduresSix months of demonstrated successful experience driving vehicles requiring BC Class 2 or higher license in all seasonsValid B.C. Driver's License Class 2 Full Privileged with air endorsement & an exemplary driving record as demonstrated by a current driver's abstractTo Apply:Complete/update your Make A Future portfolio.
