Our Client is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support the Data for Connected Health and Digital Health Standards departments. The successful candidate will lead portfolio coordination, governance, reporting, operational planning, and delivery oversight across interconnected digital health workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop an integrated portfolio view covering priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery status
Coordinate multiple workstreams and support alignment across clinical, business, and technical teams
Establish and improve governance processes, controls, templates, workflows, and meeting structures
Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, briefing materials, status reports, and decision records
Manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and action items
Support budget tracking, capacity planning, resource visibility, and forecasting
Apply formal change management methodologies to support adoption and behavioural change
Identify operational gaps and implement process and workflow improvements
Facilitate governance forums, committee meetings, and partner working sessions
Maintain integrated plans, RAID logs, governance calendars, action trackers, and reporting tools
Provide operational and administrative support to senior leadership
Ensure complete documentation and knowledge transfer throughout the engagement
Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Information, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in program management, portfolio oversight, or large-scale initiative delivery within public-sector or multi-setting healthcare environments
Experience leading complex, multi-workstream digital health or healthcare programs
Strong experience establishing governance frameworks, KPIs, reporting mechanisms, and executive-level presentations
Proven expertise in risk, dependency, financial, resource, and capacity management
Experience applying formal change management methodologies across complex programs
Demonstrated success in process optimization, operational improvement, and implementing new delivery models
Extensive partner engagement, committee facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration experience
Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities
Healthcare and Data Standards Expertise
Candidates must have strong knowledge of:
Healthcare data models and data lifecycle management
Digital health interoperability and data exchange
HL7 FHIR , SNOMED CT , and LOINC
Provincial, pan-Canadian, and international digital health standards
Electronic health records, interoperability services, and healthcare system integration
Ontario's healthcare landscape and healthcare information systems
Additional Assets
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft cloud-based tools
Experience with process mapping and the solution development lifecycle
Ability to identify and mitigate implementation and adoption risks
Strong organizational, negotiation, and deadline-management skills
