Manage Generation Capital Project OT Services activities from design through implementation and commissioning.

Support project and construction teams throughout all phases of project delivery.

Act as the primary team contact for capital project status, tracking, technical coordination, and deliverables.

Design, implement, and support industrial control system (ICS) and operational technology (OT) network solutions for generation facilities.
-
Develop and maintain ICS network architectures to support operational, cybersecurity, reliability, and business requirements.

Design and integrate ICS devices and communication equipment into Generation Plant local area networks.
-
Support capital, maintenance, lifecycle replacement, and cyber security projects related to generation infrastructure and control systems.

Participate in engineering design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and field implementation activities.

Liaise with engineering, planning, operations, maintenance, technology, and cybersecurity groups to define technical requirements and develop engineering solutions.

Coordinate vendor participation and document device functionality, technical requirements, and integration capabilities.

Update and maintain generation network infrastructure drawings and engineering documentation using AutoCAD.

Support project work packages related to plant LAN design, device integration and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection .

Support the team with NERC CIP compliance activities including annual drawing reviews, technical assessments, and engineering documentation updates.

Create and maintain work instructions, technical procedures, and job aids related to operational technology services.

Host cross-functional meetings, document decisions, track action items, and facilitate successful completion of project deliverables.

Provide periodic field support, site assessments, and construction quality assurance activities to verify compliance with engineering designs and specifications.

University graduate in applied science or engineering
-
Registered Engineer-in-Training or Geoscientist-in-Training with Engineers & Geoscientists BC or another jurisdiction and/or eligible for registration as such with Engineers & Geoscientists BC

Familiarity with CAD systems and drawing standards

Ability to use standard industry design/analysis software

Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Intermediate English skills for professional environment, written and spoken

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
-
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a relevant engineering field or equivalent.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and process diagrams.

Ability to effectively present technical information to project teams and stakeholders.

Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT), communications networks is an asset.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and engineering drawing standards.
-
Experience supporting capital projects, maintenance programs, or industrial infrastructure projects is an asset.

Familiarity with NERC CIP standards and experience in NERC CIP compliance is an asset.

Advanced Excel and Visio skills are considered assets.
