Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) has an opportunity for a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual as a Industrial Electrician for our Milling division based in Lethbridge, AB. P&H Milling P&H is the largest Canadian-owned milling company.

The P&H Milling Group sources wheat from Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada to produce quality flour and cereal products.

The lineup includes hard red spring wheat flour for breads and other bakery products, soft winter wheat flour for cakes and cookies, as well as semolina flour for pasta, organic flour, and atta flour for chappati.

In our specialty milling operation in Saskatoon, we also mill pea fractions.

From its mills in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Acton, Hanover, Hamilton, and Cambridge, Ontario; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; and Lethbridge, Alberta, the P&H Milling Group supplies flour to customers throughout Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Iceland, and Pacific Rim countries.

Some of our benefits include: Learning and Development Programs Dental, Vision, and Extended Health Care Tuition Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off RRSP Matching Wellness Program Company Events Your Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Industrial Electrician is responsible for repairing plant electrical and mechanical equipment in an efficient, timely, and safe manner, ensuring the safety of everyone on site while maintaining production efficiency.

Day to Day Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring Health & Safety programs, policies, and procedures are followed.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and work orders throughout the plant, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with safety rules and standards.

Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and systems, including electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.

Conduct routine plant inspections, identify equipment malfunctions, and provide observations and recommended corrective actions to the Maintenance Manager.

Work effectively in a food processing environment with an emphasis on compliance with food safety, Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.

Perform and/or assist in the testing and calibration of machines and equipment.

Optimize equipment safety, food safety, and reliability by following appropriate precautions to prevent risks to employees and products.

Monitor spare parts inventory levels and provide updates to the Maintenance Manager for procurement planning.

Maintain documents and records in accordance with all relevant Quality and Safety policies and procedures.

Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to welding, machining, and fabrication, where trained and qualified.

Attend safety meetings, training sessions, and certifications as required.

Required Qualifications Certified Journeyman Electricians or registered apprentices will be considered.

Experience with GMP and BRCGS food safety systems considered an asset.

Working knowledge and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), VFDs, troubleshooting, pneumatics, mechanical systems, hydraulics, rotating equipment, and electrical systems.

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Proficient with CMMS programs; quick to learn other computerized systems.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and multitasking skills.
