Full Stack Web Developer – MERN/API:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Full Stack Web Developer – MERN/API for a 2-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.
Full Stack Web Developer – MERN/API - Job Description:
The project involves executing roadmap deliverables for Canadian Digital Banking Engineering, focusing on innovative, customer-centric solutions. You will work with modern JavaScript frameworks and the MERN stack to develop secure, scalable applications that enhance digital banking experiences.
Full Stack Web Developer – MERN/API - Responsibilities:
• Design and develop full-stack applications aligned with business requirements.
• Implement robust APIs and front-end interfaces using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate on roadmap initiatives and contribute to technical decisions.
• Work on help and search chatbot capabilities.
• Deliver feature creation and platform enhancements.
Full Stack Web Developer – MERN/API - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years’ experience in web development
• REST API Design & Integration – 3+ years
• 3+ years’ MERN Stack experience: React, Node.js, SQL/MongoDB, Redis
• Modern JS Tooling – ES6+, Webpack, Babel, Jest (2+ years)
• Authentication & Security – OAuth2 or similar (2+ years)
Full Stack Web Developer – MERN/API – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Object-Oriented & Functional Design – 3+ years
• HTML/CSS/SASS – Familiarity with BEM, OOCSS, SMACSS, CSS3 Animations (2+ years)
• Server-Side Rendering experience
• Accessibility & Internationalization (JAWS, VoiceOver)
• Strong estimation and planning skills
