Position: Tutor in the Classroom (Math Focus)

Location: Holy Name of Jesus, Hornepayne, ON

Effective Date: Immediately

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – During school hours (Schedule of hours to be arranged with successful applicants)

Rate of Pay: $22.00 / hour

DUTIES

• Support the work of teachers in elementary classrooms to allow for tier three mathematics interventions
• Work with small groups of students to reinforce numeracy skills
• Support students with digital tools being used in the class to support math instruction
• Support students with assigned math work, problems and “extra sessions”
• Support students as otherwise directed by the principal

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed or enrolled in a post-secondary program at a College or University
