Job Title: Project Manager
Brief Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing all logistical support activities under the Directorate of Logistics (DOL) for the 63rd Readiness Division. This role includes comprehensive management of all functional areas such as Quality Control, Safety, Environmental Compliance, Human Resources, Contract Administration, and Data Entry Services (including payroll, pass and ID processing). The Project Manager ensures full compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), the Solicitation, and all associated Contract Documents. Duties encompass planning, programming, execution, and day-to-day supervision of personnel, ensuring delivery of logistics readiness support services across multiple locations and operational units. This position supports and integrates project management activities across ECS 170, ECS 171, and multiple AMSA locations, ensuring seamless execution of maintenance operations, surge response capability, and compliance with government reporting and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge and support capabilities of all Army logistics functional areas to understand how the Army logistics system (Maintenance and Supply) works and interact with each other.
- Knowledge and support capabilities of local Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) capabilities and outputs as they pertain to the PWS and how they interface with national logistics databases.
- Ability to operate independently and make timely decisions to effectively manage a contract and on-site operations.
- Highly skilled in organizing, developing, coordinating, and evaluating plans among numerous military units and RSC activities to identify specific requirements and develop and adjust plans to meet each requirement on time.
- Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.
- Knowledge of financial management and ability to analyze and present financial data to Government and service provider.
- Highly skilled in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and memorandums of instruction.
Minimum Qualifications (education, experience, certifications)
- Minimum of five years documented experience in directing and managing a multi-functional Army Reserve organization, or above, logistics support activity.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- Secret security clearance or Ability to Obtain if inactive.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional periods of prolonged exposure to load noises.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands as necessary.
- Ability to hear and see to position and safety requirement levels.
- Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals.
Special Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background investigation.
