Dr. Sajner & Associates is seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist to
join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a
key role in ensuring the daily front office operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes
greeting patients, managing appointments, supporting insurance processing, and providing
high-quality administrative support.
Responsibilities:
● Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
● Schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments via phone, email, and SMS
● Assist new patients with the registration process and clinic orientation
● Manage patient check-in/check-out and collect payments as required
● Submit insurance claims and predeterminations; verify coverage and explain benefits
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy laws
● Respond to patient inquiries and direct concerns appropriately
● Support administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and data entry
● Open and close the clinic following standard procedures
● Monitor appointment schedule and fill last-minute cancellations
Qualifications:
● Diploma in Business Administration, Medical or Dental Office Administration
● 1+ year of experience in a dental clinic
● Proficiency with dental software and Microsoft Office
● Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance billing
● Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
● Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and a professional demeanor
● Willingness to travel to Mississauga clinic on rare occasions, as needed
Schedule:
● Evenings and/or week-ends as required
● May occasionally support other nearby clinic locations as needed
