Prophix is expanding our Solution Engineering team! The team works closely with innovative companies interested in leveraging Prophix’ market leading Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solution.

A Solution Consultant is a dynamic individual who has a strong desire to learn and solve problems creatively and quickly. The position will report to the Manager, Solution Engineering Operations within the Solution Engineers team and will work extensively with various internal and external clients.

What You Will Do

  • Research & develop demonstration content for specific use cases and industries
  • Support and enable Prophix resources, external partners, and international teams with your content to drive software sales
  • Configure Proof of Concepts (POCs) that address specific prospect and/or customer needs to prove Prophix is uniquely positioned to solve their challenges
  • Be the go-to support on demonstration infrastructure & content
  • Maintain & extend library of assets, including software updates, and incorporating new use cases & features/functions into demonstrations
  • Work collaboratively with our Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to form messaging & uncover potential use cases for Prophix’ Corporate Performance Management (CPM) platform.

What You Will Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of experience, technology skills, personal qualities, and education.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year experience in consulting, implementation services, business / systems analyst, pre-sales and / or financial systems experience
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Business, or related field
  • Previous experience with BI tools, EPM / CPM solutions and/or data warehousing considered an asset
  • Experience in analyzing and / or manipulating large data sets
  • Able to clearly articulate concepts and business benefits to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technology, its benefits, and how it can be leveraged to achieve business goals & objectives
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Academic or practical knowledge of Accounting and/or Financial concepts (e.g. planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and reporting) considered an asset
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel considered an asset
  • Natural presenter with great interpersonal skills and comfortable in the spotlight
  • Able to gather and understand business requirements, current challenges and propose solutions
  • You have a thirst for knowledge and enjoy researching and uncovering solutions to problems
