An established limited-service hotel in Port Hardy is seeking a personable and dedicated Front Desk Manager to lead our guest services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience. As the Front Desk Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, efficient handling of reservations, and prompt resolution of guest needs. You will be a key point of contact for guests and staff alike, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining operational efficiency. The salary range is $55,000 to $65,000.

Description

• Supervise front desk operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality guest service.
• Train, schedule, and support front desk team members to maintain service standards.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing accuracy.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and shift documentation.
• Monitor supplies and ensure the front desk area remains organized and welcoming.

Requirements

• Previous hotel front desk or guest service experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient with hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite (training provided if needed).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable and eager to learn, with a positive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
