Make a Difference in a Place You’ll Love to Call Home

Join a mission-driven team in Prince Edward Island, where meaningful work meets breathtaking coastal living. Our organization has supported survivors of sexualized violence across the island since 1983. Rooted in feminist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed practice, we offer holistic healing while advocating for gender justice through education and systems change.

Whether you're drawn to PEI for its red sand beaches, tight-knit communities, or slower pace of life, this is your chance to build a career where care, collaboration, and sustainability are the core values.

What You'll Do:

Provide trauma-informed therapy to survivors of sexualized violence

Maintain a caseload of 15–20 weekly sessions (30–35 active clients) with biweekly scheduling

Use relational, individualized approaches to support client healing

Participate in collaborative, multidisciplinary care and case discussions

Contribute to systemic change through research, advocacy, and team engagement

Travel to service locations across Charlottetown, Summerside, and Alberton (with travel compensated)

What We’re Looking For:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or related field

Eligible registration with a relevant professional association (e.g. RSW, CCC, RP, LCT)

At least 2 years of clinical experience, ideally working with complex trauma and survivors

Critical understanding of oppression, colonization, gender-based violence, and their systemic impacts

Interest or training in modalities such as EMDR, IFS, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Narrative Therapy, CPT, etc.

Strong interpersonal and documentation skills

A passion for healing justice, community care, and trauma recovery

What We Value:

Deep, trust-centered therapeutic relationships

Consent-based, culturally responsive care

Critical self-reflection and humility

Team collaboration grounded in mutual respect

Burnout prevention through sustainable practices and shared accountability

Why Join Us in PEI?

Live surrounded by nature and ocean views

Enjoy a welcoming community with short commutes and high quality of life

Be part of an organization that prioritizes your wellness as much as your impact

What We Offer:

RRSP matching

Monthly clinical consultation

$2,000 annually for professional development

Paid travel time to satellite offices

A culture that actively resists burnout and respects boundaries

Apply now and be part of a healing-centered, justice-oriented team making a difference across Prince Edward Island.
