We are seeking an experienced Harvesting Supervisor for a company in Dawson Creek, BC. You will provide all necessary support and expertise in harvest supervision and construction to meet the company's facility requirements.

.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise harvesting, road construction, road maintenance and deactivation activities.
• Participate in timber reconnaissance, layout, grass seeding, post-harvest assessments, and hazard abatement.
• Document and data management
• Ensure compliance with company policy, applicable government regulations
• May coordinate special projects as needed
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
• Perform other duties, as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or Forest Technician Diploma.
• 3 years forestry experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
• In-depth knowledge of forestry procedures and harvesting systems
• In depth knowledge of road construction and road maintenance activities/techniques including deactivation.
• Knowledge of applicable government regulations
