Commercial Law Clerk
Salary: $70,000 – $110,000+ (commensurate with experience)
A reputable and well-established law firm is seeking a Commercial Law Clerk with 4+ years of experience to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience supporting commercial matters, and the ability to manage complex files with minimal supervision. Experience with lending and financial services matters is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review commercial documents and supporting materials
• Assist with file management, document organization, and transaction support
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries for counsel
• Manage deadlines, filings, and documentation across multiple matters
• Communicate with clients and external parties as needed
• Support lawyers in all aspects of commercial matters
• Assist with matters involving lending transactions, financing arrangements, and related documentation
Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a law clerk supporting commercial matters
• Experience with lending, financial services, or financing documentation preferred
• Strong organizational and file management skills
• Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
