About the Hotel :

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Directly assist as required to the Controller and the Assistant Controller.

Verify / correct the audit prepared by the night auditor.

Balance all departments’ transactions from previous day.

Prepare DRR and DSR on a daily basis.

Make collection calls;

Compile and balance the credit card vouchers for direct deposit;

Prepare daily invoicing on a timely basis to ensure collection of accounts within 30 days;

Maintain accurate records of all accounts;

Answer guests’ inquiries;

Set up billing requests;

Open accounts, reference for credits;

Control all advance deposits and follow up;

Inform management of the status of the accounts as required.

Other duties may be added associated with accounting as required by the company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Experience in Accounting or hotel industry;

Accounting education an asset;

Excellent organizational skills and communication skills;

Multitasking;

Excellent computer skills;

Ability to deal with all levels of management and staff in a professional manner.

Bilingual : French and English
