BARRIE AREA
We are looking for an experienced Production Welder/ General Labourer for the Barrie area. This position will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, fitting, and installing steel and/ or other metal components and products according to engineered drawings and blueprints.
Full benefits pay rate $33.00-$39.00 hrly

The pay rate is $33.07 after 3 months $39.22 with fully paid benefits and a pension

Responsibilities
Setup and use of Mig, plasma, torch, grinder, drill, iron worker, transit, etc.
• Fitting and fabrication of new formwork
• Repair and service of existing formwork
• Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Work effectively on a team
- Work effectively on a team as well as on an individual
- Form fabrication and welding repairs of production form
- Fabricate new forms

Qualifications
• Strong mechanical skills required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Overhead crane and rigging experience
• CWB Ticket required.
• 2 years minimum experience , must be able to pass criminal check
• Skilled in the use of MIG, Stick, all positions
