The Wind River Information Security team supports the business's objectives by implementing state-of-the-art cybersecurity technologies and practices so that we are well prepared to protect our company and customer data from cyberattacks and other unplanned disruptions.
As our Senior Cybersecurity Analyst you’ll develop cybersecurity risk models, conduct technology risk assessments, and perform control monitoring. You will be responsible for supporting the Information Security team in protecting Wind River’s information assets by establishing and enforcing our security controls.
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks as well as support the implementation of new security solutions
- Participate in investigations into anomalous activity and assist with plans for appropriate resolution.
- Analyze network packet information, Windows and Linux / UNIX OS system data, executable file data, host data, IDS / IPS logs, net flow, and metadata to identify and characterize anomalies
- Perform forensic investigations and malware analysis
- Assist in the development and optimization of new and existing tools and techniques to enhance analytic capabilities.
- Assist in tuning existing security sensors.
- Validate and triage Data Loss Prevention events.
- Participate in the coordination of resources during incident response efforts
- Complete vulnerability assessments.
- Train users on security fundamentals and best practices.
- Track and publish IT security metrics.
- Own problems from discovery to resolutionwith assistance from a Senior Security Analyst as needed.
- Deliver exceptional service by understanding business drivers and needs.
