Richard Bland College (RBC) is a two-year, residential, liberal arts transfer institution that focuses on preparing students for transfer to highly ranked colleges and universities. The College is a hidden gem located outside the Tri-Cities region—and its rural setting featuring 750+ acres of wetlands, bucolic forest, and the state’s oldest and largest pecan grove.
RBC has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, 100% grant-funded Program Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Vice President, the Program Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and monitoring the implementation of assigned programs and projects. This role involves administrative support, stakeholder communication, event planning, and ensuring that program objectives are met on time and within budget. The Program Coordinator works closely with team members and external partners to facilitate smooth execution of program activities. The Program Coordinator should exhibit an enthusiastic commitment to the Richard Bland College mission, vision and strategic goals.
This position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and involves managing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and handle several tasks simultaneously. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are also essential for success in this role.
