Accounting Technician

What- the Role :

Our client seeking a new INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT (Please note the actual job title is ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN).

Who- the Candidate :

We are looking for an individual with at least 4 years of full-cycle accounting work experience. CPA designation is not required. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, V look-ups, etc.) is required. Candidates will have an approachable, team-player mentality with a clear and professional communication style.

Bonus Points…

• Experience working for an Engineering company would be an asset.
• Implementing Power BI or have a working knowledge of Power BI.
• Good asset management experience.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

How Much :

Competitive base salary ranging from $70,000-$80,000 commensurate with level of skills, experience, and education. The company will provide their new hire with a solid overall compensation package, including 5% RRSP match, 3 weeks’ paid vacation,10 sick days, and excellent extended health and dental benefits.

Where : HYBRID schedule – 4 days on site, and 1 WFH day. The company is headquartered in Burnaby, offers free parking, and is a 10 minute walk from the nearest skytrain station.
