Base pay range

CA$150,000.00/yr - CA$150,000.00/yr

Required Skills & Experience

• 8-10 years of experience, 4 of those years spent in a managerial position and, including 5+ years in professional services
• CPA designation required, or in the process of obtaining
• Proven ERP implementation experience (minimum three end-to-end projects)
• Experience in preparing and reviewing accounting memos under IFRS, ASPE, and US GAAP
• Strong background in sales, business development, and market visibility
• Expertise in financial consulting, advisory and the Finance service industry for finance functions
• Deep knowledge of financial management, including process design, budgeting, reporting, and performance management
• Experience working in a consulting firm (any of the Big 4, preferred)

Job Summary

In this role, you will review and contribute to the planning and execution of client projects within the financial services sector, ensuring effective management of economic aspects throughout engagements. You will actively support business development initiatives specific to the financial services industry, participate in market and brand awareness campaigns, and assist in creating new service offerings.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing complex accounting memos under IFRS, ASPE, and US GAAP, overseeing client deliverables prepared by junior staff while fostering their technical expertise, communication skills, leadership, and project management capabilities. You will serve clients and collaborate with local office teams across Canada and internationally, lead timely internal and external communications, and prepare and deliver presentations to clients and firm staff. Additionally, you will mentor and develop consulting resource teams to strengthen overall practice capabilities.

Successful candidates will need to be fluent in French and will be mostly remote, with on-site work required a few times a month in Montreal.
