CONTRACT POSITION – 1 YEAR

Leggett & Platt is looking for a CONTRACT Materials Planner to order the right raw materials and components in advance of production while minimizing inventory. As exceptions occur to the plan this position is responsible for identifying those issues, creating a plan and taking action to restore normal operations and minimize the impact of the disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

Material planning or other operations/supply chain experience

Large organization experience, and experience of using ERP/MRP software, Oracle software, Microsoft Office and Access would be preferred.

3-5 years’ related experience within an ISO/TS16949 manufacturing environment.

Problem solver and ability to manage conflict and multiple priorities.

Good organizational and interpersonal skills

Good oral and written communication skills

Team player

Computer and system proficiency

Educational requirements, Certifications:

Bachelor's degree or previous experience in a supply chain role

Experience:

• Material planning or other operations/supply chain experience
• Problem solving
• Initiative
• Ability to manage conflicting and multiple priorities
• Computer and system proficiency
• Teamwork

Compensation:

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 based on experience.
