Known for theirmitment to operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and long-term asset performance, they are seeking a skilledmercial Building Operator to join their property operations team.
Your New Role
As themercial Building Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems across amercial portfolio. You will ensure all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems are operating efficiently while maintaining a safe, professional environment for tenants and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring, operating, and maintaining building systems and equipment
  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Responding to tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Conducting regular building inspections and documenting deficiencies
  • Coordinating and supervising contractors and service providers as required
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, work orders, andpliance documentation
  • Assisting with energy management initiatives and building optimization projects
  • Supporting emergency response procedures and after-hours calls when required

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • 3+ years ofmercial building operations experience
  • Building Systems Technician (BST), Stationary Engineer, Power Engineer, or equivalent technical education preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life safety systems
  • Experience working with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service andmunication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation considered an asset
