Overview

Your role

Support Planning and Scheduling activities:
  • Develop, baseline, update, and maintain project schedules.
  • Support resource and budget loading activities and ensure Primavera data is properly extracted and shared with cost control.
  • Issue schedules for both internal and external stakeholders and ensure accurate progress measurement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and control schedule performance, identify variances, analyze earned value impacts, and report critical schedule issues.
  • Prepare and update resource requirement reports and highlight areas of concern.
  • Interface with the broader Project Controls team, Engineering, Procurement and Construction to maintain an integrated schedule.
  • Analyze schedule and communicate key findings to the Lead Planner, Project Controls Manager and Project Manager.


About you

  • University degree (B.Eng, BCom, etc.) and 5+ years of planning, scheduling, and cost control experience in engineering/construction; nuclear new-build experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques such as critical path method, progress measurement, earned value, and extensive hands-on planning, analysis, and reporting experience.
  • Understanding of project controls policies and procedures, supported by strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, with preferred strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Effective communicator with strong report writing, presentation, and client-interaction skills; able to build strong working relationships across teams and partners.
  • Organized, able to prioritize, meet deadlines under pressure, and apply practical problem-solving with a results-oriented approach.
