The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join Akash Homes, based in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Opportunity

Marketing at Akash Homes is about far more than creating content, it’s about building a brand that customers recognize, trust, and connect with at every stage of their homebuying journey.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing the Akash Homes brand to life through graphic design, campaign execution, digital marketing, community launches, showhome marketing, and day-to-day project coordination. You'll work closely with Sales, Construction, Leadership, and external partners to ensure every customer touchpoint reflects the Akash Homes standard.

Top 3 Priorities for Your First 6 Months

Become a trusted steward of the Akash Homes brand by confidently executing high-quality marketing materials across print, digital, and community touchpoints.Independently coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns, community launches, and showhome initiatives that are on time, on brand, and aligned with business priorities.Build strong relationships across Sales, Construction, Leadership, and external partners while identifying opportunities to improve marketing processes, brand consistency, and customer experience.

What You'll Own

Brand & Graphic Design

Support the Marketing Manager in executing the Akash Homes brand across all internal and external marketing materials.Design and produce print and digital marketing assets including brochures, flyers, signage, e-blasts, social graphics, presentations, and event materials.Maintain brand consistency across all print, digital, signage, and social channels.Assist with creative direction, layouts, community maps, and presentation materials.Prepare production-ready artwork and coordinate with print and signage vendors.Maintain and organize brand assets, templates, and marketing resources.Identify opportunities to strengthen the Akash Homes brand library and creative toolkit.

Marketing Campaigns & Project Coordination

Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, showhome launches, promotional initiatives, and community events.Coordinate project timelines, creative deliverables, vendor activities, and budgets to keep marketing initiatives on track.Support on-site marketing activities including showhome branding, signage installation, and community events.Act as the marketing point of contact for Edmonton communities by coordinating signage, showhome materials, and website updates as communities progress.Partner with Sales and Construction teams to ensure marketing activities align with operational milestones and community progress.

Digital Marketing & Social Media

Support the day-to-day management of Akash Homes' social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, and .Source, create, and edit photography, video, graphics, and written content that aligns with campaign objectives and company culture.Maintain website content by ensuring floorplans, community information, and marketing assets remain current.Contribute ideas that strengthen digital engagement, reach, and overall brand awareness.

Collaboration & Communication

Partner with the Marketing Manager and Sales team to ensure consistent branding across every customer touchpoint.Coordinate with photographers, printers, advertising partners, signage vendors, and other external suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.Support internal communications and company culture initiatives through creative marketing materials.Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas that strengthen the Akash Homes brand.

Must-Haves

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Experience creating professional print and digital marketing materialsStrong graphic design skills with an eye for layout, typography, and brand consistencyExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsA collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendorsA proactive approach—you identify opportunities, solve problems, and take ownership without waiting to be askedAbility to adapt quickly within a fast-paced, evolving environmentValid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between communities, showhomes, events, and vendors

We're less concerned about formal education and more interested in your ability to create exceptional work and execute marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand. That said, the following would be considered an asset:

Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related fieldExperience within residential homebuilding, real estate, or constructionExperience managing business social media accountsFamiliarity with WordPress or another website CMSExperience with Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar scheduling platformsBasic photo and video editing experience using Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar softwareFamiliarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or other digital advertising platforms
