Reporting to the Senior Manager Projects, this position is responsible to own the end-to-end integration capability on SAP Integration Suite (CPI/BTP)—designing integration architecture and iFlows, managing API lifecycles, delivering complex data transformations (Message Mapping/Groovy/XSLT), enabling secure hybrid connectivity via SAP Cloud Connector across SAP and non-SAP systems, and providing L2/L3 production support aligned to security best practices and “Clean Core” standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Create, publish, version, and retire APIs; enforce governance, documentation, and consumption standards across the API portfolio.
- Develop and maintain message mappings and transformations using Message Mapping, Groovy scripting, and XSLT to ensure accurate, consistent data exchange.
- Enable reliable connectivity between SAP systems (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, FieldGlass) and non-SAP platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), including network and routing considerations.
- Configure and administer SAP Cloud Connector, including subaccount mappings, exposed resources, access controls, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Define integration patterns and architecture decisions; produce technical design documents and specifications aligned with enterprise standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, implement fixes, and proactively improve stability and performance.
- Implement and maintain secure authentication/authorization (OAuth flows, certificates, key management), and ensure integrations adhere to SAP best practices and “Clean Core” principles.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 Year bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications in Azure integration technologies are considered an asset.
- 6+ years of experience delivering SAP Integration Suite (CPI/BTP) integrations, including API management, data transformations (Groovy/XSLT), hybrid connectivity via SAP Cloud Connector, L2/L3 support, and secure “Clean Core” practices.
- Proven expertise in API lifecycle management (design, versioning, publishing, governance) and integration best practices.
- Strong data mapping/transformation skills using Message Mapping, Groovy scripting, and XSLT.
- Demonstrated experience integrating SAP applications (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, FieldGlass) with non-SAP systems (e.g., ServiceNow) in hybrid landscapes.
- Hands-on capability configuring and troubleshooting SAP Cloud Connector connectivity, routing, and access controls.
- Strong technical leadership in integration architecture and specifications, with L2/L3 production support experience and solid security implementation (OAuth, certificates) aligned to “Clean Core” standards.
The successful candidate will exhibit uncompromising integrity and commitment to upholding corporate values, and the OPG Code of Business Conduct.

The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training, including any collective agreement requirements for union represented positions. It is not typical for the salary to be offered near the top of the range, and salary is dependent on numerous factors. For management roles, the base salary range does not represent the total compensation package. The total compensation package for regular full-time management roles includes pay-for-performance programs for annual and medium time periods. Maintaining a high-performance culture and excellence is a core expectation of every member of our leadership team and is rewarded through the established compensation framework.
OPG is committed to employment equity. As such, we encourage applicants from equity-seeking communities (Indigenous Peoples, racialized persons, persons with disabilities, and women). We strongly believe that alleviating the under-representation of equity-seeking individuals will create a stronger OPG team and allow us to better serve the needs of our diverse communities.
In order to fulfill the above-mentioned purpose, priority in hiring may be given to qualified persons who self-identify as a member of equity-seeking groups as identified in the application process. This initiative constitutes a special program under the Human Rights Code/Canadian Human Rights Act.
