The School
The role is within our School of Applied Sciences and Technology. The School offers a variety of programming in Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences, and Animal Health Technology. Through this programming, we offer a variety of certificates, diplomas, university transfer courses, as well as a degree in computing science.
The Role
The Humanities and Social Sciences Department has launched a social work diploma program in 2025-2026. The program has a rural, northern, and Indigenous focus and emphasizes social practice in those contexts. The Department requires a part-time faculty member in social work to
• Teach two sections of SW1120, Social Work with Children, one in the fall and one in the winter
• Position is subject to enrollment and winter section is subject to fall faculty evaluation.
This part-time position will commence on September 1, 2026. Program delivery is on-campus in Grande Prairie.
