Our older son, Owen, will be 4 years old by the end of October. Our younger son Bryan is 16 months. The older son has mild autism and is a little bit behind on his numbers, letters, and motor skills. Therefore a nanny with ECE certification (or something similar) is needed to help Owen catch up. (Any additional training such as Montessori, occupational therapy, speech therapy, ABA therapy, etc. is certainly a plus.) Owen attends a private school and Bryan attends a Montessori daycare. I think the ideal situation is to start part time in the late afternoon/evenings and focus on the education aspects of the job. If you are a good fit we're certainly open to transitioning to full time (whether live out or live-in). When the children are at school, you can assist in housekeeping and/or meal prep.
