Job description

Slice’s mission is simple: help independent pizzerias become more profitable. Slice powers over 15,000 of your favorite pizzerias across the US with discounts on the things they care about and use most (like pizza boxes), an integrated technology stack (POS, Online Ordering, Phone, etc), world-class marketing and advertising services and a community of owners where they can learn, share and thrive together. The Opportunity

Slice is rapidly expanding its sales team, and like any great team, we need incredible coaches to engage, teach and lead our salespeople to success with our shop owners. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your leadership skills, your desire to be the best and your passion for small business to make a huge impact on our sales team, Slice as a company, and the pizza industry as a whole.

The Role

We don't want to be a good sales team, we want to be the BEST. We want leaders who are obsessed with being incredible coaches, focused on creating incredible salespeople, defining and managing immaculate processes and structures and constantly learning and pushing themselves and their teams to be better. The Inside Sale Manager will lead a team of Inside Sales Reps who are responsible for acquiring new shops onto the Slice Platform. Ultimately, like any great team, you are helping your team crush their goals.

Slice leaders also work cross-functionally with their peers in sales to define and execute strategy, with also with their partners in marketing, implementation, operations and product to ensure the entire customer journey is constantly optimized.

Outperforming leaders have the following in common;

  • Internally motivated to be great leaders
  • Loves ambiguity, change, and the intensity of start-ups
  • Takes accountability and ownership for their teams, decisions and outcomes
  • Sets and holds high standards for themselves and their teams
  • 3+ years of full-cycle, sales management experience
  • Loves data, process engineering, and is obsessed with understanding how everything works and why
  • Able to hire, motivate, coach and keep top talent
  • Loves technology (tools, AI, etc) to enhance their own and their teams’ ability to succeed

Salary Range: $150-180k OTE + benefits.

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
