Position Overview: The Lead Therapist will oversee all aspects of the clinic’s operations, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction, team efficiency, and overall clinic performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can manage both the clinical and administrative functions of the clinic. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare management, a passion for driving excellence in patient care, and a deep commitment to team development.

Company Overview: Axis Therapy & Performance is a premier provider of physiotherapy, chiropractic, and wellness services dedicated to refining the way our clients move. Our mission is to deliver expert physical therapy powered by human connection. We seek a dynamic and experienced Clinic Director to lead our team, ensure exceptional patient care, and drive the clinic's operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and administrative staff.
  • Promote the Axis brand, showcasing pride in the team and prioritizing the brand's culture both in-person and on social platforms.
  • Oversee clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure clinic goals are met, including clinic revenue targets, product sales, and client retention.
  • Participate in and lead various meetings, including weekly LevelTEN meetings, director meetings, and monthly skill-building sessions.
  • Continually improve processes, develop organizational structures, and ensure the smooth flow of day-to-day operations for clients and staff.

Client Experience:

  • Ensure all staff greet clients with high energy and enthusiasm, developing rapport and understanding client goals.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of treatment plans, ensuring clients commit to their prescribed sessions.
  • Monitor client interactions to guarantee the highest quality of care, compliance with regulations, and tailored, lasting experiences.
  • Promote client engagement through excellent customer service, including follow-ups, feedback collection, and ensuring treatment plan adherence.

Business Development & Marketing:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for patient acquisition, retention, and community outreach.
  • Participate in monthly outreach events and organize media days with the Social Media Manager.
  • Promote brand loyalty on personal and clinic social media pages, engaging with posts and ensuring visibility of the Axis brand.
  • Recruitment & Talent Building:
  • Lead and manage recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes for new staff.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new Physical Therapists, Client Coordinators, Outreach Coordinators, and Culture Officers.
  • Conduct monthly team skill-building sessions and explore potential clinical programs based on industry trends and client demand.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure clinic operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews, including 6-month and annual assessments, to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Fully registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a private practice orthopaedic setting, with at least 1 year of leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of clinic operations, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, develop strategies, and drive business growth.
  • Competency with healthcare administration systems (e.g., Jane, Telus Health).
  • Flexibility with work hours, including evenings, weekends, and off-hours as needed.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary with performance-based bonuses, ensuring that your hard work and dedication are recognized and rewarded.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision coverage to support your well-being and that of your family.
  • Professional Development: We are committed to your growth. You'll have access to ongoing professional development opportunities, including in-house training, workshops, and support for continuing education to help you stay at the forefront of the industry.
  • Career Advancement: As a growing clinic, we provide clear pathways for career advancement. We believe in promoting from within and offer leadership development programs to help you achieve your career goals.
  • Collaborative Work Environment: Join a supportive and collaborative team that values each member's contributions. You'll work in a positive environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and the sharing of best practices.
  • Community Engagement: Be part of a clinic that values community involvement. We regularly participate in and host community events, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact beyond the clinic walls.
  • Mentorship and Leadership Opportunities: We believe in nurturing talent and offer mentorship programs to help you grow in your role. As Clinic Director, you'll also have the chance to mentor and lead a talented team of professionals.
  • Innovative Work Culture: At Axis Therapy & Performance, you'll be part of an innovative culture that embraces new ideas and approaches to improve patient care and clinic operations. Your input will be valued and encouraged as we continue to grow and evolve.
