Job description
We’re a warm family in Bedford, NS, seeking a caring, experienced nanny for our 6-year-old daughter, Sarah. Sarah is joyful, emotionally intelligent, and bright. She has clear pronunciation but struggles to express full thoughts due to a speech delay (Gestalt language processing). We’re looking for someone to support her expressive language through daily play and conversation—not therapy. Sarah goes to school and she’s in grade one now. We’re looking for someone who: • Is a native English speaker (essential for language modeling) • Has experience with speech or language delays • Is patient, emotionally attuned, and engages through conversation • Can support light routines and play-based learning • Is open to input from her therapy team Please note: • Only apply if you’ve worked with children with speech/language delays or similar needs.
