Your new role
As the Mechanical Estimator, you will prepare accurate estimates formercial projects. You will review drawings and specifications,plete take-offs, manage tender packages, coordinate with suppliers and sub-trades, and support handovers to the project team after award. This role will involve preparingplete tender submissions, pricing site instructions and change requests, identifying project risks, and working closely with project managers through pre-construction. You will also maintain estimating records, historical pricing, and bid-performance information.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of mechanical estimating experience, ideally with exposure tomercial projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems is required, along with the ability to read drawings and specifications. Experience with Trimble and Excel is an asset,munication, and organizational skills.
