Job Description

We are seeking skilled Forklift Drivers to efficiently operate counterbalance forklifts at a battery plant. The role involves loading and unloading pallets at the receiving bay and ensuring their correct placement within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload pallets at the receiving bay.
• Transport pallets to their designated locations within the facility.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in forklift operation and warehouse inventory management.
• External/third-party forklift license is mandatory.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Possession of static discharge shoes (yellow tag).
• Material handling expertise.

Work Environment

This position is based in a modern battery plant with a focus on safety and efficiency. Shifts are 12 hours long with a bi-weekly rotation from 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am. The dress code includes static discharge shoes (yellow tag).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
