We are seeking a Legal Technology Analyst (Contract) to join our team.
This role will involve supporting legal technology platforms optimizing legal workflows and enabling automation initiatives across the Legal function. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal technology systems platform administration requirements documentation and cross-functional coordination along with a passion for improving legal operations through technology and AI-driven solutions.
Job Title: Legal Technology Analyst (Contract) Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months (High possibility of extension) Job DescriptionThe Legal Technology Analyst (Contract) will support the Legal Technology Solutions Lead in executing technology initiatives maintaining legal platforms and ensuring efficient day-to-day legal technology operations. This role focuses on enabling workflow optimization automation reporting and system reliability across the Legal department.
As a Legal Technology Analyst (Contract) you will assist with the administration configuration and support of core legal technology platforms including contract lifecycle management matter management e-signature ticketing and analytics tools. You will collaborate closely with Legal Operations IT vendors attorneys and professional staff to support technology-driven improvements.
The Legal Technology Analyst (Contract) will play an important role in documenting business requirements coordinating testing activities supporting system implementations and assisting with training and user enablement. You will also help maintain dashboards manage access controls and support knowledge management initiatives.
This position requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. The Legal Technology Analyst (Contract) is expected to leverage AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency automate repetitive tasks and deliver high-quality outcomes.
The Legal Technology Analyst (Contract) will contribute directly to improving legal workflows system adoption and operational effectiveness through hands-on technical and analytical support.
Key Responsibilities(5 years relevant experience)
Support workflow optimization initiatives by analyzing existing legal processes and assisting with technology-based improvements (5 years)
Assist with administration configuration and troubleshooting of legal technology platforms (5 years)
Document business and technical requirements process flows and system specifications (5 years)
Manage user access role-based permissions and security controls across legal systems (5 years)
Support automation and AI-driven initiatives to improve productivity and data analysis (3 5 years)
Design and maintain dashboards tracking KPIs technology adoption spend and operational metrics (3 5 years)
Coordinate implementation activities vendor interactions and project timelines (3 5 years)
Support testing efforts including test scenario creation UAT coordination and results documentation (3 5 years)
Assist with training demos documentation and user enablement initiatives (3 5 years)
Provide day-to-day operational support and continuous improvement assistance (5 years)
Legal technology systems administration (CLM matter management e-signature e-billing) 5 years
Hands-on experience with Ironclad (mandatory) 5 years
Experience with Onit DocuSign JIRA or similar platforms 3 5 years
Business requirements gathering and documentation 5 years
User access management and security permissions 5 years
UAT coordination and business acceptance testing 3 5 years
Dashboarding reporting and KPI tracking 3 5 years
