LONG TERM OCCASIONAL (LTO) SECONDARY CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE 26-27 SCHOOL YEAR For the 2026-2027 school year, mutual agreement, or a temporary letter of approval may be considered for applicants who do not hold the minimum OCT qualifications required and stated on HDSB Secondary Ads. LTO Teaching sections available: 2 (1 = 0.33 FTE, 2 = 0.67 FTE, 3 = 1.0 FTE) Vacancy Details: Technological Education - Transportation TTJ34C - Sem 1, Per 4 (Sep 2/26 - Feb 4/27) TTJ34C - Sem 2, Per 4 (Feb 5/27 - Jun 30/27) Senior Transportation Technological Education Required AND Automotive Technician Certification Required External candidates hired to the Halton District School Board: Must hold both Intermediate and Senior qualifications in combination with at least two (2) different Senior teachable subjects. Must provide a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening prior to employment. Must have a valid OCT certificate in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.Proficiency in Brightspace and online learning will be considered an asset.
