Aecon Technical Solutions Inc. employs highly skilled technicians to perform telecommunications infrastructure installations. Whether in a residential, commercial, institutional, or hospitality environment, ATSI is able to assist clients with their telecommunications installation needs.
The Warehouse Associate supports daily operations in ATSI warehouses by executing receiving (GR), putaway, picking/packing, staging, and outbound shipment tasks in SAP EWM. The role helps ensure accurate inventory, safe operations, and timely material availability for field teams and partners.
What You'll Do Here:
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse (5S mindset)
- Following all safety procedures and participating in safety meetings/toolbox talks
- Receive inbound freight; verify quantities/condition against PO/ASN; post Goods Receipt (111) under guidance.
- Putaway materials to correct bins and maintain accurate bin labels; perform bin-to-bin transfers as directed.
- Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders; ensure correct packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Support cycle counts and inventory adjustments; report variances and damaged goods.
- Operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely; complete pre-use inspections; maintain housekeeping and yard/warehouse organization.
- Use handheld scanners/SAP EWM for all movements; flag system errors or blocked documents to the supervisor.
- Assist with courier/freight coordination (pickups, drop-offs) and with returns processing.
- Follow Aecon Redbook EHS procedures, participate in toolbox talks, and report hazards/near-misses.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 1–2 years warehouse experience (construction, utilities, telecom, or distribution preferred).
- Experience with handheld scanning and basic SAP EWM (or similar WMS) is an asset; training provided.
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Strong attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in warehouse conditions (cold/heat).
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint) and effective communication with team members and drivers.
The expected hourly salary for this position is $20-$24. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
