Collaborate with project teams to assess RIM implications of new technologies and workflows.
Support the development and implementation of records retention schedules and classification schemes.
Advise on privacy, security, and compliance requirements related to digital records.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures for digital information governance.
Participate in stakeholder consultations to understand information flows and risks.
Review and provide input on contracts, data sharing agreements, and system designs from a RIM perspective.
Support change management and training efforts related to RIM practices.
Maintain documentation and provide regular updates to the General Counsel.
What you must have:
Post-secondary degree in Archival Studies, Library and Information Science, and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience such as specialized training or certification from the ICRM
Minimum 4 years of experience in records and information management, preferably in public sector or other regulated environments
Strong understanding of privacy legislation and information governance frameworks
Experience supporting digital transformation or technology implementation projects
Experience with classification systems, retention schedules, and metadata standards
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide RIM programs and policies
Certification in RIM (e.g., CRM, IGP) or related field is an asset
