Job description
Educational AssistantLocation: Glendale Sciences and Technology School30 hours weekly Commencing August 24, 2026The successful applicant will provide support to students in grades K-8. Desirable qualifications and attributes:Educational Assistant Certificate or related training is an assetTraining or experience in behaviour management (e.g., non-violent crisis intervention, SIVA) preferredExperience supporting students with complex behavioural needs in a school settingCalm, patient, and able to respond effectively in high-needs or escalated situationsStrong communication and teamwork skillsFlexible, reliable, and able to support a variety of classroom and school-based activitiesComfortable supporting personal care needs including lifting and toileting as requiredFor more information about the Red Deer Public School District, visit our website at: This competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found and will close without notice once a shortlist has been selected.
