Job description
I am a homeowner in Wheatley, Ontario, looking for a reliable housekeeper to help maintain my vacation home which we rent out on Airbnb. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks that keep my living space tidy and welcoming to guests. Rentals are mostly from May to September, but there could be rentals in any months. Key responsibilities include cleaning the bathroom thoroughly, ensuring it is sanitized and fresh, keeping the kitchen and living/dining room clean and organized. General bedroom cleaning and laundry of beddings. Attention to detail in all areas of the house is crucial. In addition to these tasks, the housekeeper will be responsible for kitchen upkeep, which includes wiping down countertops and appliances. Fridge cleaning if necessary, ensuring that it remains clean. The dishwasher may requires running if not started by the guest and dishes replaced in the cabinet. No outside cleaning is expected unless there is any emergency task that is required. Reporting to me the condition of the house is important so to keep me informed. The guest checkout time is 10am and next guest check in is 4pm, therefore the cleaning has to be done between 10-4, usually on the weekend but it can be any day of the week, which you will be notified as soon as it is booked which is usually a month or more ahead.
