CareRx is looking for aPharmacy Assistant (Pharmacy Software/ Kroll Data Entry)to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with the preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Role Accountabilities:

• Following NAPRA guidelines to maintain cleanliness of non-sterile compounding
• Preparing non-sterile compounds per SOP based on training
• Processing, scheduling and filling orders
• Coordinating deliveries to facilities
• Packaging of Infusions for deliveries to facilities
• Other duties as required based on department needs.

What You Will Bring to The Team:

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program is preferred, but not required
• Excellent working knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems (Point Click Care, Catalyst, Med E Care)
• Competency with Microsoft Office software
• Demonstrated ability to operate PACMed and PACVision machines
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-tasking

Compensation Range: $19 - $23/hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.

Location:This is on-site role at Unit 2- 2735 Matheson Boulevard East, Mississauga, ON L4W4M and follows a five-day workweek with weekend rotations.
