Details: External Posting #25/26-092E - Personal Attendant - Autism - FRIMM W.L. McLeod Elementary 5 hours per day, 5 days per week Continuing position starting as soon as possible Summary Provides assistance to teachers and other professionals in the delivery of regular or alternate programs of study for students with autism.Functions as an advocate for students and as a collaborative member of the school-based teamQualifications:Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)Completion of a DELF B1 Certificate or equivalentCompletion of an Education Assistant Certificate ProgramCompletion of POPARD - INTRODUCTION TO ASD program (30 hours)BC Driver's License - Class 5 Full Privileged with an exemplary driving record as demonstrated by a current driver's abstract6 months of experience working with people with behavioral disorders To Apply: Complete/update your Make A Future portfolio. Upload a copy of the applicable certificates/documents as indicated in the Qualifications section of this posting You can obtain a copy of your driver's abstract (Personal Driving Record) online () If you do not have a WHMIS 2015 certificate from the last 12 months, you can complete the course online () Please note: Applications will only be accepted via Make A Future.
