Job description
We are a family located in Toronto, Ontario seeking a live-out elder care provider for our loved one living in a retirement residence. This part-time position requires a compassionate individual to provide companionship and personal care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our family member. This includes taking them to activities within the building and other memory care related activities. Applicants should have experience in elder care and possess a kind and patient demeanor. Duties include engaging in conversation, accompanying our loved one on outings within the building, taking them to the outdoor seating area and assisting with light household tasks. Personal care tasks may include grooming, medication reminders, and meal preparation. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00.
