Our utilities client is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to support a range of application-focused IT initiatives planned for (Hybrid, Edmonton AB).
Overview
This role will support multiple IT initiatives across several business areas, with a focus on application enhancements, configuration of existing systems, and development of business cases for future projects. The Business Analyst will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to define requirements, support implementation, and ensure solutions align with business needs. There is also potential involvement in a SharePoint On-Premise to SharePoint Online migration .
Must-Haves :
- 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role within IT environments
- 5+ years of overall professional experience in information technology
- Experience supporting application enhancements and configuration initiatives
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Ability to manage and facilitate small to medium sized working groups
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements
