As a manager, you will lead a team of Business Immigration Analysts delivering high‑quality, on‑time immigration filings and client support for large and emerging companies. You’ll own day‑to‑day operations, coach and develop talent, drive process and technology improvements, and serve as a primary partner to attorneys and client stakeholders.
What You’ll Lead & Deliver
- Team leadership & mentoring
- Manage workload, staffing, and priorities for a pod/squad of Analysts and Senior Associates.
- Provide coaching, QA reviews, and career development plans; conduct performance check‑ins.
- Complex case strategy & escalation
- Oversee and review sophisticated non‑immigrant and immigrant filings (e.g., H‑1B, L‑1, TN, O‑1, PERM, I‑140, AOS/EAD/AP).
- Resolve escalations, spot risks early, and coordinate with attorneys on strategy.
- Client program management
- Act as day‑to‑day operational lead for assigned accounts; run status calls, SLAs, and reporting.
- Translate business objectives into clear workplans; anticipate volume spikes and set filing calendars.
- Quality, efficiency & continuous improvement
- Implement standardized SOPs, checklists, and QA controls; ensure accuracy in your team’s work.
- Identify bottlenecks and lead Lean/Six Sigma‑style improvements to cycle time and first‑pass yield.
- Data, reporting & insights
- Use dashboards to manage throughput, backlog, expiries, and compliance milestones.
- Convert data into actionable recommendations for clients and internal leadership.
- Technology & automation
- Champion use of case‑management systems and automation tools; pilot new features and drive adoption.
- Training & knowledge management
- Build and deliver training on US immigration processes, policy updates, and best practices.
- Maintain and evolve playbooks, templates, and knowledge bases.
- Stakeholder communication
- Tailor communications to executives, HR/TA partners, and employees; set expectations and timelines.
- Participate in client meetings and present solutions with clarity and confidence.
- Risk, ethics & compliance
- Uphold firm policies and code of conduct; ensure audit‑ready documentation and DOL/USCIS compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6–8+ years in U.S. employment‑based immigration with progressive responsibility; 2+ years leading or mentoring teams (formal people management preferred).
- Expertise: Deep working knowledge of high‑volume NIV/IV processes including PERM and adjustment of status; strong drafting/review skills.
- Operations: Proven ability to manage SLAs, capacity planning, and complex, deadline‑driven workflows.
- Communication: Executive‑ready written and verbal communication; confident client facilitation.
- Technology: Proficiency with immigration case‑management systems and reporting tools; comfort driving automation adoption.
- Education/credentials: Paralegal certificate or university degree a plus (JD not required).
- Nice to have: Process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), people leadership in a professional services environment, experience supporting large enterprise programs.

- Compensation Salary Range: $74,000‑$100,000 CAD
Compensation is determined based on geographic location, years of relevant experience, education, and overall qualifications.
