Responsibilities Maintain the grounds surrounding the building, ensuring it is safe and aesthetically pleasingManage and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections/checksAssists with moving and storage of supplies and equipmentReport on equipment malfunctionsMaintain and make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical systems, etc.Performs other routine maintenance such as painting, drywall repair etc.Contact and follow-up with contractors, technicians, and service representatives utilized by the organization when necessaryAvailable for emergency callsAdditional duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications Minimum of Grade 12 plus experience in building maintenance, such as carpentry, painting, plumbing or electrical.Journeyperson Certificate in a construction trade such as carpentry, electrical, or plumbing OR a Building System Technician certificate from an accredited Community College would be considered assets.
