Founded in 2000, Stratford Hall is one of the few IB continuum schools in Canada and has a rich tradition of educational innovation and excellence in the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes.Position Rationale and GoalUnder the management of the Principal, and in collaboration with the Learning Strategist, teachers and other support staff, the Educational Assistant will enhance and support the learning of one or more students. The Educational Assistant will work to support those students individually, as part of a small group or amongst the class as a whole. In collaboration with the classroom teachers, the Educational Assistant will provide some measure of pastoral care for the students they are working with. In consultation with the Learning Strategist and Advisory teacher,, the Educational Assistant will correspond with parents on a regular basis. The Educational Assistant will contribute to the school community through other duties as assigned.
