Job Description

Our Client, a reputable Ski Resort just outside of Vancouver, is looking for a Director of Food and Beverage to join their dynamic and fun team.

As the Director of Food and Beverage you will be responsible for providing direction, fostering a positive work environment and continuous training.

The successful candidate will lead the F&B team of approximately members, in the delivery of high-quality food and beverage service while managing the operations.

This is a senior leadership position based at the ski resort.

  • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING : Lead by example in managing the F&B team, offering guidance, training, and support to uphold exceptional service standards.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to develop menus that align with industry trends and guest preferences.
  • Promote a thorough comprehension of and dedication to achieving all divisional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as NPS scores and team member engagement.
  • Collaborate to create a thorough summer business plan, focusing on initiatives that prioritize hospitality.
  • Track maintenance and capital needs, ensuring a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests.
  • WHO YOU ARE : 7+ years of progressive experience in Food and Beverage management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and strategic planning capabilities. In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, menu development, and food safety standards.
  • Proven experience in elevating hospitality standards and developing a culture of service excellence.
  • Adaptable to work effectively in a diverse and ever-changing working environment.
  • Experience in F&B within a ski resort, outdoor recreation, or tourism industry is highly desirable.
