Job description
Calling all millwright team leads with experience working in GMP/food manufacturing.
Are you a a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?
Our client, located in Milton ON is looking for their next maintenance team lead on their afternoon shift.
This is an amazing opportunity to join and support a dynamic and tenured maintenance team.

Location: Milton
Position: Shift Lead must have 433a
Payrate: $45/hour
Shift Timing: Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm

Responsibilities
-Support and lead a team of 10 maintenance personnel by coaching, using continuous improvement models and being go-to contact person on the floor
-Preform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery such as carton machines, flow wrappers, shrink wrappers, check weighers, metal detectors, ovens, and freezers
-Installs and moving of machinery as needed
-Duties as other wise assigned

Qualifications
-433A Millwright License
-Experience in maintenance team lead/supervisor position- food environment preferred
-Solid understanding of GMP and HACCP guidelines
-Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies (Certification is a strong asset)
-Collaborative leadership approach, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
