Job description

Chinook School Division is seeking qualified teachers available for substitute teaching in schools throughout our division.

The Chinook School Division is proud to serve nearly 6,000 students in 60 schools (29 Public & 31 Hutterian), with over 1,000 collegial and student-centered teachers and support staff. We are a vibrant and progressive school division located within Saskatchewan's great Southwest. Desired Qualifications :

  • Sask. Professional A or the ability to be certified;
  • Successful teaching experience or training;
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment, in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom;
  • A willingness to be part of a collaborative educational team;
  • An interest in serving multiple schools;
  • Ability to work effectively within an environment that includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, professionals, and community service agencies;
  • Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation;
  • Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion.
